Amy Hughes
Born in West Yorkshire now living in London, I first encountered clay on my Pre-BA Foundation Course at Batley School of Art & Design, quickly becoming hooked I went on to study 3D-Design: Ceramics at Loughborough University, graduating with first class honours. I have just completed my Masters Degree at the Royal College of Art in the school of Applied Arts; Ceramics and Glass. I specialise in hand building and enjoy working with form and texture and studying its relation to decoration, I am also a keen illustrator. I have just recently set up a studio with 8 of my RCA classmates in Shoreditch, East London to keep making and developing my work.
